Wabash National Corporation Receives Award for Supporting Diverse Businesses

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Nov. 23, 2016 — Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC), a diversified industrial manufacturer and North America’s leading producer of semi-trailers and liquid transportation systems, received a 2016 Golden Handshake Award from the Supplier Diversity Development Coalition of Greater Lafayette for “exhibiting diversity and excellence.”

Wabash National works with approximately 450 Indiana suppliers and supports more than 75 small businesses, including veteran-, minority- and woman-owned businesses.

Adler and President and COO Brent Yeagy accepted the award at the Coalition’s annual Relationships to Partnerships Sessions on Nov. 18, 2016, in Lafayette, Indiana.

The Greater Lafayette Supplier Diversity Coalition encourages diversity and creative solutions that result in long-term partnerships between small diverse businesses and larger members of the Greater Lafayette business community.
