LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Sept. 26, 2016 – Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) raised $400,000 for 17 community organizations at its annual charity golf outing on September 22, held in conjunction with the company’s annual Supplier Conference, which took place on September 23.
“Every year I am impressed by the generosity of our supplier partners who support us in giving back to our communities,” said Dick Giromini, president and chief executive officer. “Thanks to our suppliers, this year’s charity golf outing was the most successful event in its history. Wabash National is proud to support and work with local agencies to sustain and promote a promising future for our communities. It gives me great pleasure to work with people throughout our industry who share our company values and support our organization in our efforts to give back.”
More than 200 companies supported Wabash National’s fundraising efforts at the charity golf outing and auction, raising $356,957 with event sponsorships and auction bids. Wabash National gave an additional corporate gift of $43,043 at the close of the charity golf outing and auction, bringing the total monies raised to $400,000.
The United Way of Greater Lafayette is receiving the largest donation at $170,000. The remainder of donations is being distributed among various nonprofit organizations, including:

- Helen Keller Foundation for Research and Education

- Purdue Athletes Life Success Program (PALS)
- United Way for Clinton County
