Wabash National Corporation and W.M. Sprinkman Corporation Building Equipment for the Craft Beer Market

Two leading stainless steel processing equipment manufacturers collaborate to serve a growing number of craft brewers

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Feb. 23, 2016 — Wabash National Corporation’s (NYSE: WNC) Walker Engineered Products and W.M. Sprinkman Corporation are combining their expertise in stainless steel processing equipment to collaborate on building equipment for craft brewers, a growing segment in the U.S. beer market.

According to the Brewers Association, a trade group for craft brewers, the craft beer segment grew 18 percent by sales volume from 2013 to 2014, and craft brewers made up 11 percent of U.S. beer market sales in 2014.

Wabash National and Sprinkman entered into an agreement in February 2016 to serve a wide variety of craft brewers and allow Sprinkman to meet the growing nationwide demand for their custom brewing systems.
